Damn Lucky on the CKs. I just build up a pair with the same rims, WTB hubs (not recommended, the rear axel is already sloppy). You CAN use the short spoke nipples for the fore drilled rims, keeping in mind the extra MMs have to be made up with spoke length if spoke calc uses the 16mm nipples as default on those rims. Either work great. I'm proud of the riders that don't accept machine built, generic wheels. These have soul; and will last longer then any Mavic out of the box wheel if they are build by a great builder, the parts are easy to find if the chain goes into the spokes in Moab (it happens to the best of us, ride long enough and you're limit screw will back out), and you get cool points for running custom stuff. And you'll need to will those hubs to your next of kin... Friends
